Meet The Founder

My name is Elysse & I am of Mexican descent. Growing up, I was insecure about my body and facial hair. I tried every hair removal method, but I just didn't get the results I wanted. At 18 I was taught sugaring - that was the game-changer. Sugaring is the only hair removal method that did not irritate my skin or cause my hair to grow back thicker. Sugaring had changed my life.

 

When I founded Sugar Wax LA, I knew that I wanted to offer this incredible service to others and help them feel as confident and beautiful as I do.

As the brand grew, I realized how much of an impact it had so, I decided to start teaching the Art of Sugaring. Today I help other women create their beauty business from scratch, just like I did. Sugar Wax LA  helped more than 100 women become entrepreneurs/ successful Sugaring Artists.
